Example Health Record

See what becomes visible when the record remembers what came before.

This is Nara, the same example dog used in the Healthspan Plan. Her January Plan identified movement variety and a clinical baseline as useful next steps; this record shows what becomes visible as those actions and new observations accumulate through August.

Nara, over time.

Nara has held a lean body condition while movement variety, diet composition and recovery around stressful dog encounters have all become more deliberate.

Dated record thread

4 chapters, one Nara.

Each point preserves what was recorded then. A line appears only for measurements that can be compared honestly.

  1. Jan 15

    Healthspan Plan baseline

    Starting point set

18.5 kg, body condition 5/9, ≈875 kcal/day and 45–90 minutes of daily movement recorded; the Plan prioritised movement variety, a somewhat more protein-forward diet and faster recovery around unfamiliar dogs.

  2. Mar 22

    March 2026 check-in

    Plan in motion

Varied-surface work was added weekly and the first protein-forward food swap was made without increasing the daily calorie target.

  3. May 24

    May 2026 check-in

    Clinical baseline added

Routine bloodwork was attached; weight was 18.6 kg with body condition still 5/9 and no new symptoms recorded.

  4. Aug 2

    August 2026 check-in

    Progress becoming visible

Two varied-terrain sessions plus short strength work now fit most weeks, protein density is higher at a similar calorie total, and recovery after close dog encounters is usually down to about 1–3 minutes.

The thread Nara sees

Since her January Healthspan Plan, Nara has stayed essentially stable around 18.5 kg while a flat-walk-heavy routine expanded to hills, varied surfaces and short strength work. Calories remained close to baseline while the diet became more protein-forward, a routine CBC and chemistry panel added the missing clinical comparison point, and recovery after close encounters with unfamiliar dogs shortened from several minutes to about 1–3 minutes. Nara keeps the plan, progress and new evidence connected instead of resetting the story each time.

A single observation is shown as a point, never a trend. Trajectories appear only after Nara has comparable dated history.

This is Nara's example. Yours starts with your dog.
