Movement

Everyday Strength Foundations

One simple bodyweight movement done comfortably and consistently — not rapid increases in load.

What it is

One simple bodyweight movement done comfortably and consistently — not rapid increases in load.

Why we created it

Good form and consistency matter more than how much your dog can do.

Goal

One comfortable movement your dog performs with control.

Before you begin

You’ll need

  • Stable, non-slip footing.
  • Clear space around your dog.

What you’ll do

Your first session

  1. Choose one simple movement your dog already does comfortably.
  2. Watch that both sides move evenly and with control.
  3. Keep to the current comfortable range and amount; stop before form changes.
  4. Note how your dog moves later and the next day. Keep other exercise steady.

Things to notice

  • Symmetry and control.
  • Form as the session goes on.
  • Later and next-day movement.

When to stop or get help

  • Pain, limping, any neurological concern, slipping, worsening form, tiredness or being worse the next day — hold or reduce and get appropriate advice.
  • No external weights or resistance.
  • Any feeding or activity instructions from your veterinarian still apply.
About this guide

There is no required exercise and no repetition target.

Progress gradually and pause if your dog shows discomfort or reluctance.
